Interval training is another form of exercise that helps to burn belly fat at a fast rate. Interval training is not like your usual slow boring cardio. Intervals are a whole different ball game. With intervals you run at a fast pace for thirty seconds and slow down to a jog for a minute and a half. This is one interval, once you complete six intervals than you are done with your cardio workout. The awesome thing about interval training is that it only takes about 20 minutes to complete.

In order to have an effective fat burning program it is important to combine weight lifting with intervals. This will allow you to burn fat a lot faster and therefore achieve your goal of having a flat stomach.
